Overview

Introduction and Appearance

Dehbid Shayan marble is one of Iran’s cream-coloured building stones. Its light, warm background and natural patterns allow combinations with wood, metal and other interior materials. Brightness, veining and visual uniformity vary between grades, so photographs of each grade should be reviewed separately.

This stone is mainly used indoors. When choosing it for a project, assess the finish, thickness and specifications of the offered sample alongside its appearance. Grade information and test results are presented on the associated quarry’s page.

Potential Applications

The following applications are listed as an initial guide. The final choice depends on the quarry-specific stone properties, grade, finish and installation conditions.

Interior Flooring

When selecting flooring, assess abrasion resistance, foot traffic, and the slip resistance of the finished surface.

Interior Wall Cladding

The stone’s pattern, colour, dimensions, and finish should suit the interior space and the installation method.

Stairs and Landings

Suitability for stairs depends on strength, adequate thickness, and a surface finish that reduces slipping.

Decorative Details

Assess suitability for cutting and detailed fabrication based on the design, thickness, and stone properties.
